1. Sri Ranganatha-Swamy Temple

- The Ranganathaswamy temple or Sri Ranganathaswamy temple in Srirangapatna, in the Mandya district of Karnataka state, India, is dedicated to the Hindu god Ranganatha (a manifestation of Vishnu).
- The temple is classified one among the 108 Abhimana Kshethram of Vaishnavate tradition.
- It is one of the five important pilgrimage sites of Smartha Vaishnavas and Sri Vaishnavism along the river Kaveri for devotees of Ranganatha.
- These five sites are collectively known as Pancharanga Kshetrams in South India.
2. Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple

- The Padmanabhaswamy Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of the state of Kerala, India.
- It is one of the 108 Divya Desams which are considered the sacred abodes of Vishnu in the Sri Vaishnava tradition.
- The name of the city of 'Thiruvananthapuram' in Malayalam and Tamil translates to "The City of Ananta" (Ananta being a form of Vishnu).
- The temple is built in an intricate fusion of the Kerala style and the Dravidian style of architecture, featuring high walls, and a 16th-century gopuram.
3. Konark Sun Temple

- Konark Sun Temple is a 13th-century CE Hindu Sun temple at Konark about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northeast from Puri city on the coastline in Puri district, Odisha, India.
- The temple is attributed to king Narasingha Deva I of the Eastern Ganga dynasty about 1250 CE.
- Dedicated to the Hindu Sun-god Surya, what remains of the temple complex has the appearance of a 100-foot (30 m) high chariot with immense wheels and horses, all carved from stone.
- Once over 200 feet (61 m) high, much of the temple is now in ruins, in particular the large shikara tower over the sanctuary; at one time this rose much higher than the mandapa that remains.
4. Shree Jagannath Temple

- The Jagannath Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Jagannath, a form of Vishnu in Hinduism and two of his siblings, Balaram and Subhadra, alongside Sudarshan (the deified form of Vishnu's primary weapon).
- It is located in Puri in the state of Odisha, situated on the eastern coast of India.
- As per temple records, King Indradyumna of Avanti built the main temple of Jagannath at Puri.
- The present temple was rebuilt from the eleventh century onwards, on the site of the pre-existing temples in the compound, but not the main Jagannath temple, and begun by Anantavarman Chodaganga, the first king of the Eastern Ganga dynasty.
5. Mahabodhi Temple

- The Mahabodhi Temple (literally: "Great Awakening Temple") or the Mahābodhi Mahāvihāra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is an ancient, but restored Buddhist temple in Bodh Gaya, Bihar, India, marking the location where the Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment.
- Bodh Gaya is 15 km (9.3 mi) from Gaya and is about 96 km (60 mi) from Patna.
- The site contains a tree believed to be a descendant of the Bodhi Tree under which the Buddha gained enlightenment and has been a major pilgrimage destination of Buddhists for over two thousand years.
